Yesterday was Peyton’s first birthday! I happy to have been able to spend these last 12 months with her watching her grow and learn new things. She surprises me every single day with all of the weird, funny, and unusually intelligent things that she does. She knows how to put an instant smile on a person’s face and is a joy to be around.

It seems like there were a lot of births of famous people, a lot of weddings, including Audrey Hepburn’s (she’s my style icon), many wars, and a whole lot of sports events, sadly many of which were Yankees victories. I included a list of some memorable historical events below, so feel free to educate yourselves!
